18 Months Old Today!
Madeleine is 18 months old today! Happy 1/2 B-day, my sweetcakes :) I can't believe that I have not posted anything on this blog in over two months! -- Well, I can believe it, actually... Too tired at night to get on the computer! But I really have wanted to post some great photos from our family beach trip in July... and also let everyone know that M. took her first steps (by herself) on June 29 while we were at the beach! She was 16.5 months old. It was so cute and great fun, of course. And Julie caught it on video, too. Though I haven't seen the video yet -- nor any of the "reams" of footage (digital) that she took in China! I think I need to get Julie to send me the raw files and not wait for her to edit it - otherwise I may never see it! Or better yet, I probably need to get my own video camera :) Hope you enjoy these photos from the beach...

Hi May!! What a gorgeous, smiley, little girl she is. The beach pictures are great...you all look great and I, too, love that dress. I know you were so excited about those first steps alone. Sophie's a little older and I remember her first steps...so exciting and a little sad at the same time.
