13 Months

Well, here we are... it's been another month since I've posted! At her 13 month check-up (mid-March), Madeleine still weighed just under 20 pounds (19 lbs, 6 oz) -- actually a few ounces less than her 11-month check up. BUT, she had grown an inch! Now at 30", the pediatrician says she is in the 30th percentile for weight but the 75th percentile for height. That's the Amercian growth charts... on the Chinse growth charts, she would be in the 95th percentile for height, so says my
pediatrician! So perhaps I really do have Yao Ming's baby! :) Although this could just be a spurt right now -- the doctor says it's still too early to tell what her ultimate height will be... All in all, she is doing great. She's pulling up and VERY proud of herself when she does, but still not strong enough/steady enough to walk. That's OK by me! :) She is doing great at daycare, too. I love this outfit so I had to get a few pics -- but the hat is definitely too small on her big head! :) (her big head full of brains, right? :)

We went to FCC's Chinese New Year Celebration back in early February. Not great photos, but the only two I have of us in our matching Chinese outfits! (and my jacket was destroyed when I washed it in the washing machine... so this is it! :)
